Castles & Catapults
King Rodzil was a good king, well loved by his people. He had 6 children, all very dear to his heart. But his love could not keep them unified. Tired of their squabbling the king hid all his gold before his untimely death. His kingdom then split into 6 smaller kingdoms, each led by one of his children, all seeking to recover the gold.
You will play this game as one of these sons or daughters of King Rodzil. You care nothing for his legacy, only the missing gold. To gain it and keep it you must build a balanced kingdom. Castles & Catapults is a fun game of strategy, timing and chance. Each player builds up their kingdom to accumulate gold. The bigger your kingdom, the more gold you can play. The more castles you have, the better chance you have to protect your gold. The more catapults you have, the better chance you have to steal gold from other kingdoms. The more markets you have, the easier it is to build more castles, catapults and markets. Use attacks, military and action cards with key timing to give your kingdom the advantage. The kingdom with the most gold wins. |
