As the new mayor in the Old West, you have been charged with resurrecting a small town.  We have cleared out the tumbling sagebrush and built you a new Town Hall.  All you'll need to do now is construct some buildings and draw in some town folk.  When you can afford it, you will want to make the place look nice by adding some fountains, parks and monuments.  'Cuz the prettiest town wins the game.
Townfolk is a unique and innovative card game of town building.  Players try to build a well balanced old western town using Town, Folk and Victory cards.  Each card gives the player extra abilities, coins, or building power.  You can also play Outlaws to your opponent's town to slow their progress.  Turn sequence is so simple it is easy for new players to learn quickly.  Planning strategy can beat the luck of the draw.
